The Arrow (Tinkers' Construct) is a craftable item from Tinkers' Construct that is only usable by bows from the same mod. They can be crafted from various materials but require Arrowhead, Tool Rod, and Fletching.
Generally, the heavier the arrow the less distance it will go. However, the lighter it is the less damage it will do, in most cases. Arrows can do more damage when enhanced with Sharpness (Quartz), so they can be very useful against other players due to dealing more damage than average arrows.
This table needs verification and may not be 100% accurate.
The more a material weighs, the more damage it does. This is true for the most part except for slime, cactus, and bone.
* All of these arrows were measured with the feather fletching and the feather was made entirely out of the material, instead of using a stick and the arrowhead, since they were easly obtained from NEI this way.
The fletching is another business entirely, since it cannot be made out of any material but ghostwood, feathers, leaves or slime, ghostwood being an unknown as to how the arrows can be crafted. Leaves are the cheapest of all, but only oak leaves work, they can be found everywhere but they also have the same downside as paper arrows, they are inaccurate. Slime can be found everywhere once a stack of 64 something is acquired since the slime islands are everywhere in a Hexxit world, but since they need to be burned, and before that crated with gravel and sand, they become too much worry in comparison to chicken feathers, which can be acquired from chickens, which are everywhere and can be farmed. Besides being easier to get than slime, feathers have the best efficiency out of the rest of materials.
The arrows were crafted with netherrack, since it was the material most available at the time of crafting.
Ghostwood fletching has not been tested yet, to complete the info, use an arrow made out of a netherrack arrowhead, and a stick for the tool rod.
