The Mountain Ridge biome is part of the ExtrabiomesXL mod.

Mountain Ridges are very steep, and are mainly composed of Red Rock, Brown Grass, and Tiny Cacti. Unlike Vanilla Minecraft's Extreme Hills biome, villages can spawn here.

Armadillos are very common in this biome.
