Marshes are part of the ExtrabiomesXL mod.
Marshes are extremely flat with little, if any, elevation. They are mostly composed of an equal amount of water and grass blocks, There are no trees in marshes; mostly grasses grow there. It is not recommended to live here, as there is not much land to build on, and the excessive patterning causes lag on some computers. Typically try to avoid them, as they are quite hard to traverse as well. Interestingly, they seem to generate as five blocks of grass blocks mixed with five blocks of water. Villages can be found here rarely.
