I understand there are some standardization information on the Template:Grid/Crafting Table page. But I wish to formally place it somewhere that can be found a bit easier without knowing how to access the template information. These are the current standardizations that were set forth by the aforementioned template.
File Standards Edit When uploading mod images, the following standard is used:
- item name.png -- A 16x16 two dimensional image of the item.
- Grid_item name.png -- A 32x32 image of the item as it appears in a player's inventory.
- item name_ig.png -- A larger image of the item placed in the game world (for blocks).
We can discuss any changes to the other sizes but the "Grid" size is absolute. Other sizes for the grid besides 32x32 will need to be resized by the site which can cause images to be blurry, or just appear incorrectly. The grid images should also have a transparent background and not the gray used in-game. This is to permit them to have multiple uses besides just the crafting grids, as they may be needed elsewhere that having a gray background is just weird or undesired.
