- Don't forget to sign with ~~~~. As for your issue, should be a couple of F9 presses to turn it off (It's a feature of NEI that shows chunk edges, F9 turns it "on" again with a grid for the chunk, and then again to turn off) See Controls#Not_Enough_Items for more information related to controls.
