The Fox is a small red animal primarily found within forest regions.
It is tamable with the use of eggs. Once tamed, a nameplate will appear above the fox displaying name, health, and state. Names can be changed by right clicking with paper. Right clicking the fox without paper in hand will change the state of the fox. States include standing, sitting, following, and attacking. You can also breed the fox to get baby foxes by feeding both of the adult tamed foxes Eggs. The baby fox will be untamed when born. To heal the fox, feed it eggs or use Potions.
