Golden Gysahl is an item added by Chococraft. Golden Gysahl is used to breed Chocobos and have a low drop rate from harvesting Gysahl Greens that are planted on Farmland and not found naturally on Grass Blocks.
Golden Gysahl can be more commonly found in dungeon chests and it has been reported that the Lilypad of Fertility can improve the chances of Golden Gysahls dropping from harvested Gysahl Greens.
When using Golden Gysahls instead of Loverly Gysahls, the offspring has a higher chance of mutating into an new breed of Chobobo. Golden Gysahls are required to breed a White and Black Chocobo to make a Golden Chocobo.
