Golden Gysahls are used to make Chocobos mate. They are obtained from harvesting Gysahls that have been planted by a player on tilled soil using Gysahl Seeds, although they have a very small chance of dropping. Golden Gysahls can more commonly be found in dungeon chests.
By using Golden Gysahls over Loverly Gysahls, the offspring has a higher chance of mutating into an new breed of Chobobo. Golden Gysahls are required to breed a white and black Chocobo to make a Golden Chocobo.Template:Item Infobox
