Iron Golem is a mob added by vanilla Minecraft. It is an ungainly creature that walks awkwardly around its post. It will assail enemies by throwing them into the air. Attacking villagers will cause a naturally=spawned Iron Golem to target you.
Spawning
Iron Golems may naturally spawn in villages with the right number of Villagers present. It is unknown if the Tinkers' Construct villager counts in the requirements.
They may also be formed as a multi-block structure consisting of 4 Blocks of Iron and a Pumpkin in the shape of a plus with the pumpkin as the head and the blocks of iron in a T shape. Note that the pumpkin must be placed last in order for the Iron Golem to be created.
Trivia
- The Exterminator Prototype, a boss in spawned volcanoes, resembles the Iron Golem.
