Livingmetal is feature added by the Harken Scythe mod that is obtainined through the use of an Altar of Souls with Iron Ingots. This is accomplished by collecting and depositing souls in the Soul Crucible, which must be placed relative to the altar in the same manner as Bookcases and Enchantment Tables. Livingmetal ingots, tools, and armor can also be found very rarely in dungeon chests. Some rare/ultra mobs can also drop Livingmetal tools and weapons.

5 souls will imbue one Iron Ingot and convert it into a Livingmetal ingot, which can then be used for a number of crafting recipes.

Use

Livingmetal is used in weapons, tools and armor. Livingmetal blocks, which gradually heal entities that stand on them, can also be made.

Livingmetal has a connection with the Asgard Shield mod, meaning that one can also make Giant Swords and Shields.

  • Ingot

Self-repair

Livingmetal itself has a unique property. Items created using Livingmetal will repair themselves thwough the harvesting of souls with either a Soulkeeper or a Soul Essence. Note that the harvested souls are not consumed by this regeneration. Only the act of harvesting is needed for the Livingmetal weapons, tools and armor to repair themselves.

Of course, Livingmetal items can also be repaired.by anvilling them together with Livingmetal Ingots.

Bugs

  • The Livingmetal Scythe and Giant Sword don't seem to regenerate when collecting souls.
