Pirate Ships are naturally spawned dungeons anywhere on a pool of water. A pirate ship can usually be spotted on the map easily because they stand out from the blue of the ocean. On the ship, there are sails made of red, yellow and white wool - sometimes created in an image of a Creeper's face - and pirates who will attack on sight. There are four types of pirates: one with gold armor paired with a sword or bow, another with chain armor, a sword, and revolver, and a pirate with leather armor (dyed white) and a stone sword. Finally, there is the boss pirate, who has 500 health, can turn invisible, and can make clones of himself for protection. The Captain's weapon of choice is often the Ninja Dagger.
Some of the large pirate ships have TNT cannons made of obsidian and redstone. These ships also have three rooms full of TNT: two on either side of the prow, and one in the middle of one of the sides of the ship. Extra care should be taken to make sure that there aren't any Creepers in any of those rooms, as an explosion could be catastrophic.
