The Salamander's Eye can vaporize fire balls shot by Blazes and reflect fire balls shot by Ghasts. It can also extinguish fires on and the player, making it a very advantageous item when stuck in lava. The item texture blinks every once in awhile. This item is very useful in fighting bosses such as the Ur-Ghast. It is used in the crafting of the Wraith's Eye.
