A disguised Sandworm.
The Sandworm is a hostile mob added by Project Zulu that mainly spawns in the desert biome. Sandworms camouflage themselves with a skin texture that looks like sand, although it is slightly less defined. The Sandworm will reveal its dark red skin once damaged or approached by the player. The Sandworm has teeth that can tear through sand and as such have a slight surprise factor.
Drops[]
When killed, Sand Worms drop Scrap Meat, Small Hearts, and occasionally Emerald Shards.
Trivia[]
- When there are no players nearby, it will take on its sandy appearance once again.
- Sandworms cannot swim, making them easy to kill if one is near a body of water. This is especially helpful if one does not have good weapons.
- Sandworms can spawn in groups.
- Sandworms may be based on the worms in Tremors, the movie series.
