Scepter of Life Draining is a weapon added by Twilight Forest that consumes enemy health and returns some back to the user.

Obtaining and Use

The Scepter of Life Draining is one of three scepters (the others being the Scepter of Twilight and the Zombie Scepter) that can be dropped as loot upon defeating the Twilight Lich boss.

Right-clicking while looking at a target within 20 blocks deals 3 () points of damage and grants you 1 () point of health in return. It can be held down for continuous use, keeping the enemy in place with a very short Weakness effect, consuming one charge with every interval used.

This item can't be crafted, but can be recharged in a crafting grid with a fermented spider eye:

Trivia

Scepters can be given the Unbreaking Enchantment, giving it a chance to not lose charge when used.
Starting use will play a sound like Flint and Steel.
If you use a Scepter of life draining on a Twilight Lich, it will break one of its shields because the Scepter of Life Draining ignores armor.

Bugs

If you only life drain for one interval it may only damage the target and not heal you.
