This variation of the Hookshoot can be gotten from killing the spider boss. It is the fastest and longest range grappling device in introduced by the Better Dungeons mod. Instead of launching the hook it launches a spider web-like attachment.
Unlike being automatic like the HookShoot and LongShoot, the Spider hook will only reel you towards a hooked object when you hold shift, similiar to the Manualshoot. Also like the Manualshoot, holding space will reel out the line.
If you use the spider hook while falling as long as it properly hooks on somthing you will take zero damage. It can also hook onto a mob and pull it towards you which can be useful pulling mobs off walls.
To use the Spider Hook, point at a surface and right-click. Press shift to reel in, and right-click again to release.
