Boxes are storage items that allow the player to store up to eight of the same item (i.e. eight iron axes, but not an iron axe and a stone axe) per box. Boxes can only be filled (using a crafting table) and emptied once, partial fills included. In other words, if you put six bows in a box you cannot put another two bows in later. Right click when held or use a crafting table to take a single item out of a box. Shift-right click when held to empty the whole box. Boxes are destroyed when emptied.
