Trickster Dagger is a weapon. It is a drop from the Pirate Captain boss. When you shift and right click with it in your hand it will spawn a clone of you (does not load skin; only default skin is used) that will fight and attract any mob that has targeted or hit you. They disappear after 3 hits. This ability will also turn you invisible for 5 seconds.
