The Volcano, added by Better Dungeons, is a huge dungeon rich with ores, inside and out. Inside, there is a staircase-like arrangement of netherrack, spiralling downwards until the bottom. Along this staircase, there are many chests to loot. Beware, though, the volcano houses Dwarves which attack on sight. They can be found at all levels of the volcano, which extends to bedrock.

At the bottom of the volcano, there is a large lava pool that may have several bomb flowers growing next to it. There is an additional brick walkway that leads deeper into the dungeon, presumably the fortress of the dwarves as rooms with beds and the occasional piece of art can be found.

Below that there is a massive stronghold with an Exterminator Prototype (Golem Boss) at the end. This is the only structure where Exterminator Prototypes and Dwarves occur naturally.
