Witches are mobs added by Vanilla Minecraft. They can be found in Witch Huts. They are hostile and will throw potions at the player. Witches will only throw potions with negative effects. When slain, witches can drop Glowstone, Gunpowder, Spider Eyes, Sugar, Redstone, Sticks, and Potions of Healing, Fire Resistance, and Swiftness.

Occasionally, the Witch will drink speed potions when damaged instead of instant health potions, making escape if necessary more difficult than it may have seemed when planned.
